Completed her residency in Hematology at Hospital Clínic Barcelona (2006–2010), where she currently serves as a Staff Hematologist.

Since 2011, she has been dedicated to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). Her main research focus is on infections in allo-HSCT recipients.

She obtained her PhD in November 2019 with a dissertation entitled: “CMV Infection in Allogeneic Transplant Recipients in the Era of Preemptive Therapy.”

She has served as Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator in clinical trials involving CMV-specific lymphocytes, multivirus-specific lymphocytes, and chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD).

She also collaborates on several research projects related to infections in patients with hematological disorders.

Her clinical practice focuses on the care of patients in the immediate and long-term post-transplant period, with special expertise in infectious complications and chronic graft-versus-host disease.
