Juan Carlos Hernández Boluda

Dr Juan Carlos Hernández-Boluda graduated in Medicine in 1994 from the University of Valencia. He was a resident in the Hematology Service of the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona (1995-1998), where he earned his PhD in Medicine and Surgery with a doctoral thesis entitled: “Role of p16 and survivin in the progression of chronic myeloid leukemia from the chronic phase to the blast crisis” (2005).

Since 2001, he has been an Associated Physician at the Hematology and Medical Oncology Service of the Hospital Clínico of Valencia, working primarily in the fields of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and the chronic myeloproliferative neoplams.

As a result of his activity in these fields, he has published around 60 papers in peer-review international journals.
