Trajectory

Dr Monté-Rubio has a degree in physics and a PhD in biomedical engineering. Since 2022, she is Head of Bioimaging and Scientific Coordinator of the Computational Anatomy Unit at CMCiB. She has worked for about 20 years as a researcher in neurodegenerative diseases and mental health, at IDIBAPS and FIDMAG. She has also been a scientific advisor in neuroimaging at the Institute of Neurosciences of the Universitat de Barcelona. Her interests focus on pattern recognition and machine learning; in this field, she has developed the WHARMPA method for harmonising neuroimaging to perform group analyses of multicentre studies.
