Ana Muntañola Prat is a consultant haematologist at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona. She earned her medical degree and PhD in Medicine from the University of Barcelona and completed her specialist training in Haematology and Haemotherapy in 2004.
Since 2007, her clinical practice has focused on the diagnosis and management of lymphoid malignancies, particularly lymphomas and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. She began this work at Hospital Universitari Mútua Terrassa and joined the Haematology Department at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in March 2024.
Alongside her clinical activity, she is actively involved in national cooperative research groups dedicated to lymphoid neoplasms. She currently serves as Coordinator of the Indolent Lymphoma Subcommittee of GELTAMO (Spanish Group for Lymphoma and Bone Marrow Transplantation) and as a Board Member of GELLC (Spanish Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia Group).
