Information

The increase in antimicrobial-resistant microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and viruses, is a growing problem and threatens the sustainability of effective public health responses to prevent and treat infectious diseases.

Given the success of its first edition on September 14th, 2018, we are organizing the second edition of the “Challenge of MDR and XDR infections” workshop taking place in Barcelona on the 2nd October 2020. It will be an excellent learning and networking platform for healthcare professionals and researchers involved in the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. The conference led by renowned experts, will provide a comprehensive overview of the epidemiology and management of multidrug resistant microorganisms and will go in depth analysis the most prominent and current issues of antimicrobial resistance.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, this year’s meeting will integrate virtual elements into the live program.
