Information

When we speak of HAIs, we refer to those infections that the patient may contract as a result of the assistance or care received in a care center, whether it be a hospital, specialty center, dialysis center, medium or long-stay center, rehabilitation or in a day hospital. It is also necessary to consider that many of these infections are resistant to antibiotics.

The second edition of the training session on infections related to health care (HAIs) aims to improve the knowledge of health professionals in the surveillance, prevention and control of these infections.
