Information

This continuing medical education course provides a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the main advances in the field of HIV, with a focus on clinical practice, research, and comprehensive patient care. Throughout eleven sessions held over the course of the year, participants will explore a wide range of relevant and emerging topics in HIV management.

The programme covers clinical, psychosocial, technological and research-related aspects of HIV care, including topics such as new antiretroviral therapies, menopause in women living with HIV, retention in clinical care, artificial intelligence and telemedicine, collaboration with community-based resources, and strategies aimed at achieving an HIV cure. The sessions also promote active participation, knowledge sharing and team cohesion among healthcare professionals, contributing to a more comprehensive, innovative and patient-centred approach to HIV care.
