The sessions are intended for specialists responsible for monitoring patients with HIV infection (doctors, nurses, psychologists, dietitians, etc.), as well as for final-year residents or healthcare personnel with an interest in HIV infection at the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol, including staff from community centers and/or primary care facilities.
The programme covers clinical, psychosocial, technological and research-related aspects of HIV care, including topics such as new antiretroviral therapies, menopause in women living with HIV, retention in clinical care, artificial intelligence and telemedicine, collaboration with community-based resources, and strategies aimed at achieving an HIV cure. The sessions also promote active participation, knowledge sharing and team cohesion among healthcare professionals, contributing to a more comprehensive, innovative and patient-centred approach to HIV care.
