Key dates:
- The deadline for grant application is June 30th, 2026. By then, the outcome of the applications submitted will be notified after the evaluation of the applications.
- The Workshop Secretariat will evaluate the applications and award grants no later than 2 weeks after application.
Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis to those who meet the following requirements:
- Healthcare professionals who deal with HIV-infected patients and can, therefore, provide informed opinions and ideas on how to manage treatment options.
- Healthcare professionals and scientific researchers who demonstrate a scientific interest in this subject area and are undertaking related research projects.
- Healthcare professionals that can contribute to the debate by providing up to date views on treatment options and switching alternatives.
Application procedures & eligibility:
The workshop organization is pleased to provide financial assistance to support attendees’ participation in this activity. The workshop participation grants will consist of a financial allowance intended to cover travel expenses, while accommodation will be booked and managed directly by the organization. Hotel rooms will be reserved in advance for all accepted grantees.
All grant applications will be evaluated individually by the Scientific Committee, which will carefully review every submission and ensure a fair and non-discriminatory selection process.
Terms and conditions:
- This support is non-transferable.
- For best consideration, applications should be made as early as possible. Applications will be considered until the exhaustion of funds.
- Applicants will be notified of the decision by email. Successful applicants will be notified with further instructions.
- The organization, in collaboration with the Scientific Committee, reserves the right to make the final decision regarding all applications. This decision is final and cannot be appealed.
- Once flights or travel arrangements are booked by the grantee using the financial allowance, any changes or cancellations will be at the expense of the grantee.
- By registering for the conference, participants acknowledge that the organizers do not assume responsibility for medical, travel or personal insurance. Participants are strongly encouraged to arrange their own insurance coverage.
- By accepting the grant, the grantee consents that the organizers might disclose information related to the transfer of value (contact information and grant amount covering transport and lodging costs) received by the grantee if this is requested by the sponsors to comply with applicable laws.
- Accommodation might be arranged in shared double rooms, to allow more scholarships to be awarded. By accepting the grant, the grantee accepts the possibility of sharing a room with another attendee.
- The conference secretariat cannot be held responsible for any accidents; loss of valuables or materials; expenses incurred in connection with a conference participation grant & conference participation.
- Receipt of a conference participation grant implies presence and active participation on the program both days. Grantees agree to sign in during both program days. In case of no-shows, grantees agree to cover all costs incurred in view of their conference participation grant.
