Information

Given that HPV infection in HIV-infected individuals is almost ubiquitous, there remains a co-infected group that remains at high risk of developing HPV-associated malignancies of the anogenital tract and oral cavity, and it is in these patients that screening programmes, for example in the anal canal, could be effective.

The aim of the conference is to review HPV (Human Papillomavirus) in the context of HIV infection, explore the latest research in HPV science and vaccination in both men and women, and offer highly tailored practical sessions aimed at professionals who regularly care for HIV-infected individuals and who are interested in implementing their own anal cancer screening programme in patients at increased risk of HPV infection.
