The workshop is aimed at healthcare professionals who care for people with HIV or other STIs, or who are at risk of acquiring them. Its goal is to equip them with the necessary tools for clinical management and decision‑making in these cases.

Information

This workshop aims to update healthcare professionals on the latest advances in infectious disease knowledge, with a special focus on HIV and sexually transmitted infections.

Participants will learn to understand the virological and immunological foundations of HIV, as well as the latest strategies for prevention and cure. They will also gain insight into the current landscape of STIs and the protocols within the Catalan healthcare system for their management. In addition, the workshop aims to strengthen care quality by reviewing resources, care pathways, and coordination models between Primary Care and Hospital Care, promoting a more integrated and efficient approach to managing these infections.
