Substitutive treatment with subcutaneous immunoglobulins has become a crucial option for treating hypogammaglobulinemia, currently leading both primary and secondary immunodeficiencies. The exponential increase in recent years of the latter and the emergence of various immunoglobulin formulations necessitate theoretical and technical learning about the different preparations and their administration methods, aiming to benefit all patients who may be candidates for this treatment today.
The main objective of the workshop is to provide nursing professionals with the necessary theoretical and practical training for the safe and effective administration of subcutaneous immunoglobulins, thus improving the quality of patient care and the efficiency of treatment.
