Information

The aim of this workshop is to help publishing scientists cultivate a more objective and analytical approach to scientific writing. Participants will learn to better understand their audience, making readers the central focus of their communication, and improve their efficiency as both writers and editors. Rather than following a rigid formula for how to write a paper, participants will be encouraged to consider why they are writing.

Learners will gain a deeper appreciation of the structure of scientific papers, with a renewed emphasis on the purpose of each section and the way they interconnect. Participants will also develop a comprehensive framework for navigating the entire publishing process, learning how to build and fulfill readers’ expectations and shift from passive reporting to active scientific argumentation.

This workshop is organized in partnership with TPM Science, a team of scientists with vast experience in research, science communication, and training. Their profound expertise in the scientific field forms the cornerstone of our collaboration with TPM Science.
