Dr Carmina R. Fumaz, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist at the Infectious Diseases Department of the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital in Badalona, Spain. She has published research of the impact of HIV infection and antiretroviral treatments on patients’ emotional well-being and quality of life. Her research also includes the study of aging in people living with HIV infection and the psychological processes associated. Dr Fumaz is a counselor member of the National AIDS Plan of the Spanish government and of several national HIV scientific societies.

Eugènia Negredo earned her medical degree and PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Sant Pau Hospital.

Since 1999, she has led the HIV Section at Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital (HGTiP) and coordinates a research group focused on HIV-related complications and associated chronic inflammation, with a special emphasis on aging.

She contributes to national and international clinical guidelines on comorbidities and aging (GESIDA, PNS, EACS), and since 2014 has been a professor and coordinator of the Medical degree at UVIC-UCC.

Since 2016, she has co-directed the international workshop “Comprehensive Management of Aging and HIV”, held annually in Barcelona and Buenos Aires.

Emma Pérez supports women in the process of (re)connecting with their sexuality, their sensuality, and the innate wisdom of their bodies. Her work focuses on fostering a more conscious, respectful, and fulfilling relationship with the body and personal well‑being.

Marian has experienced early menopause, a turning point that led her to begin a deep process of personal exploration in order to navigate this stage with greater well‑being. Along the way, Focusing became a key tool for supporting both physical and emotional changes through attentive listening and respect for the body.

She has collaborated with the AEEM in multiple training courses, menopause guideline workshops, and pre-congress courses at AEEM congresses.
She has been part of the AEEM Young Experts Groups.
She has published several articles in national and international journals.

Family physician with over 15 years of clinical experience, specialized in sexual health, HIV, and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). She is currently the Clinical Coordinator of the STI Unit at Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol and a researcher at the Foundation for the Fight against Infections, within Dr. Oriol Mitjà’s team. She combines clinical care with research and training in the fields of STIs, community-based approaches, and comprehensive sexual health. Committed to improving access to healthcare, prevention, and sexual health education, particularly among vulnerable populations and in community settings.
