The workshop is aimed at doctors, mainly specialized in dermatology, but also at professionals in the area of allergy, immunology and immunotherapy, rheumatology, oncology, internal medicine doctors, in their training period and already consolidated specialists. As well as basic and clinical researchers, specialized nursing staff, residents, and students.

Information

The objective is to improve the knowledge of health professionals involved in the treatment of skin cancer and inflammatory diseases based on immunological IMIDs with cutaneous expression, through immunotherapy.

After the success of its previous editions in 2020, 2021 and 2022, this new edition is aimed at healthcare professionals and researchers involved in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases. Attendees will learn about new drugs for the treatment of melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancer and cutaneous lymphomas through immunological therapies and targeted therapies, as well as current and future biological therapy for the treatment of prevalent skin IMIDs such as Psoriasis and Atopic Dermatitis.

José Manuel Carrascosa Carrillo is the Clinical Chief of the Dermatology Department at the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol, Badalona. He is also professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona UAB, Barcelona.

Dr. Carla Ferrándiz Pulido studied at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona, obtaining the qualification of Extraordinary Degree Award. In 2013 she obtained the title of Doctor of Medicine from the same University with the qualification of Outstanding Cum Laude unanimously. In 2006 she obtained the 57th position of the MIR, which allowed her to start her Dermatology residency at the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, obtaining the title of Specialist in Dermatology and Venereology in 2010. She currently works as an specialist physician at the Dermatology Service of the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital.

Dr. Ferrándiz has been an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona since 2014 and a collaborating professor at the Faculty of Physiotherapy of the Escoles Universitàries Gimbernat since 2011. She also collaborates as teacher in different Masters and Dermatology courses.
