Information

The Human Papillomavirus (HPV) has been a significant medical challenge for many years. With the incorporation of vaccines and new cervical screening models, it is believed that cervical cancer can be eradicated during the 21st century. However, there is a significant amount of emerging non-genital pathology related to the virus that generates debate and controversy, requiring new screening models for the early diagnosis of carcinomas outside the female genital tract.

Following the successful participation in the first multidisciplinary HPV conference at the Josep Trueta Hospital in Girona, this year we are celebrating the II edition in Badalona on October 3. The session is specifically aimed at gynecologists, nurses, midwives, dermatologists, internists, otolaryngologists, primary care physicians, among other specialists, with the intention of addressing the pathology from various fields outside of gynecology.
