There is currently an exponential increase in the use of biological therapy directed at specific molecular targets, which has led to the recovery or stabilization of several autoimmune or neoplastic diseases that were incurable until a few years ago. This has led to the massive use of this type of drugs by many specialists.
The third edition of the conference, The Tsunami of PID and SID: Are We Ready to Tackle It?, will address topics related to the diagnosis, management, and treatment of these conditions, as well as their genetic and clinical implications.
Differences between certain diseases will also be discussed, and clinical cases will be presented to illustrate key concepts. In addition, the impact of secondary immunodeficiencies and strategies for their management will be explored.
