In-hospital course in which the team of experts from the Immunosuppressed Unit of the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol will provide an update on infections in immunosuppressed patients.
The purpose of this “Curso Intra-Hospitalario de Inmunodeprimidos: el paciente inmunodeprimido y la importancia de su cuidado integral” is to strengthen the skills and knowledge of health professionals who care for immunosuppressed patients, as well as those at risk of infections or who already suffer from them. The main objective is to improve the capacity for care and treatment in these specific cases.
During the day, the specialists will address various topics related to the different types of immunity and the most common infections. Infections that affect oncohematological patients and during solid organ transplants will be addressed, as well as primary immunodeficiencies and cases of “Crossovers 1st vs. 2nd”.
