Information

Aimed primarily at specialists in FCM, gynecologists and midwives of ASSIR, as well as resident physicians and nurses of the CAPs in the area of influence of the Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol and nurses of the CAPs of the area of influence of the Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol, internists working in regional hospitals in the area will also be able to attend.

Specialists in family and community medicine (FCM) cover the care of a large number of pathologies in a heterogeneous population, ranging from the young patient with minor health problems to the patient over 65 years of age with a more complex management.
In the case of infectious pathology, the physician is confronted with treating multiple cases of acute infections, while at the same time he/she must decide on the form of treatment (outpatient or in a hospital center) and also has to familiarize himself with some complementary aspects of the management of patients with an infectious pathology that requires chronic treatment, as is the case of HIV-infected patients.
