Pediatric immunologist and specialist in pediatric infectious diseases. Head of the Pediatric Infectious Pathology and Immunodeficiency Unit at HUVH, Barcelona, Spain.

Director of the Jeffrey Modell Center for the Diagnosis and Research of Primary Immunodeficiencies (Barcelona) and local coordinator of the European Reference Network of Immunodeficiencies (ERN-RITA).

To date, he has participated in more than 30 national and international projects, 8 of which as principal investigator and is the author of more than 200 publications in indexed journals with an h-index of 32, and more than 200 communications in national and international scientific congresses.
