Doctor of Medicine from the Autonomous University of Barcelona with a doctoral thesis titled “Advances in Infectious Diseases in Solid Organ Transplantation.” Adjunct physician in the Infectious Diseases Department at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, Barcelona. Particularly dedicated to infections in immunocompromised patients, especially solid organ transplant recipients. Secretary of the Study Group on Infection in Transplantation and the Immunocompromised Host (GESITRA-IC) of the Spanish Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology (SEIMC). Author of over 45 publications in indexed journals.
