Ane Jaka
Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) in 2007. Specialist in Dermatology MQ and Venereology (2012, Donostia University Hospital). Awarded a Ph.D. from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EH) in 2015 with a doctoral thesis on “Cutaneous Toxicity and Tumor Response Markers of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Inhibitors in Metastatic Colorectal Cancer.”
Worked as a specialist physician in the Dermatology MQ and V department at the Donostia University Hospital, Osakidetza Basque Health Service (2012-2016). Currently, holds the position of specialist physician in the Dermatology MQ and V department at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital in Badalona. Additionally, serves as a clinical associate collaborator at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and as a collaborating professor in various Master’s and Expert Title programs.
Her research activities focus on Dermato-Oncology, cutaneous toxicities of new targeted therapies in Oncology, and vitiligo. As a result, she has numerous publications and is a member of various related working groups, including:
- Member of the Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer and Melanoma Committee at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital.
- Specialist Physician and one of the coordinators of the Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer Unit at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital.
- Specialist Physician and one of the coordinators of the Phototherapy Unit at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital.
- Head of the Mohs Micrographic Surgery Unit at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital.
- Member of the Pharmacovigilance Committee at the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital.
- Member of the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.
- Member of the Spanish Group of Dermato-Oncology and Surgery (GEDOC).
- Member of the Spanish Multidisciplinary Melanoma Group (GEM).
- Member of the European Network for Cutaneous Adverse Event to Oncologic Drugs (ENCADO).
- Member of the European Association of Dermato Oncology (EADO).
