Vicente Abril holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia (1991), is a Specialist in Internal Medicine (1996), and earned a PhD in Medicine from the University of Valencia (2000).
Currently Consultant Physician in the Infectious Diseases Unit at the Consorcio Hospital General Universitario de Valencia and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Valencia.
Specialized in Infectious Diseases in the Hospital Setting (Complutense University of Madrid) and holds a Master’s Degree in Infectious Diseases in Intensive Care.
Author of numerous scientific publications and conference presentations, and investigator in clinical trials in the field of Infectious Diseases.
Coordinator of the Hospital Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (PROA) and Co-Director of the annual Antibiotics Course for Infectious Diseases.
Member of national and regional scientific societies, including the Spanish Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology (SEIMC).
