Javier de Diego-Adeliño

Francisco Javier de Diego Adeliño is a psychiatrist at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in Barcelona, holds a doctorate in Medicine, is an associate professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and is a researcher affiliated with the Sant Pau Biomedical Research Institute (IIB-Sant Pau) and the Center for Biomedical Research in Mental Health Network (CIBERSAM, G-25). His main areas of interest include psychopharmacology, neuromodulation, biomarker discovery, and the biological foundations of affective disorders, particularly the early stages of major depressive disorder and treatment-resistant forms. He has numerous publications in these fields and actively participates in teaching activities related to psychiatry and neuroscience.
