Gladys Juncà

Gladys is a medical doctor specializing in Cardiology at the iCor–Institut del Cor of the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias in Badalona, where she works in the Cardiac Imaging unit. She has a particular interest in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and cardiac computed tomography (CT). She trained at the University of Barcelona and completed her Cardiology residency at the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias. She is a European expert in Cardiac MRI and has completed several courses and training programs in both cardiac magnetic resonance and computed tomography. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis, which focuses on the role of cardiac MRI in patients with myocardial infarction without significant coronary lesions.
