Albert Teis

Albert Teis is a medical specialist in Cardiology and Multimodal Imaging at iCor – the Heart Institute of the Germans Trias University Hospital in Badalona. Trained at the University of Barcelona, he completed his residency at Germans Trias Hospital in Badalona. He served as a senior clinical fellow at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. Currently, he is a European expert in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance, a professor in the Master’s Program in Advanced Cardiac Imaging at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and the coordinator of the Cardiovascular CT and MRI department at his center. He has collaborated on numerous national and international research projects and has published multiple articles in international journals. His doctoral thesis focused on the applicability of magnetic resonance imaging in the field of heart failure. He is currently supervising two doctoral theses.
