This activity is primarily aimed at young doctors from Catalonia and the Balearic Islands who are involved in the management and treatment of patients with HIV and multi-drug resistance (MDR).

Participants are encouraged to submit their own cases, presenting the clinical challenges they are facing, regardless of how much patient information is available. These cases will serve as a starting point for collective analysis and discussion, fostering practical learning and the exchange of experiences.

Additionally, those interested may register to attend online, joining the discussions and benefiting from the interaction with other professionals specialized in HIV and treatment resistance.

Information

Fourth edition of this activity, which aims to deepen the management of people with HIV with resistances through the analysis of real cases presented by physicians.

OptimiTAR offers medical training and case discussions on managing resistance in antiretroviral therapy (ART) optimization. In this edition, in addition to analyzing new clinical cases, we will also present the evolution of the cases discussed in the second edition (December 2024) to assess the impact of changes in antiretroviral treatment. Join experts in addressing complex scenarios related to HIV patients on antiretroviral therapy and multi-drug resistance.
