Adrià Curran is a staff physician of the Infectious Diseases Department and the coordinator of the Anal Dysplasia Screening Unit of Vall d’Hebron University Hospital. He has carried out specific training on HPV anal dysplasia in HIV patients at the University of San Francisco (CA, USA) with Prof. Joel Palefsky. He is a member of the International Anal Neoplasia Society. He participates as a researcher in multiple international clinical trials and has published more than 100 articles in national and international journals and book chapters on various aspects of HIV infection, HPV and its treatment.

José Moltó is clinical physician in the HIV Clinic of the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol in Badalona, Spain. He obtained is MD from the University of Alicante in 1996, and completed his internal medicine training in the Hospital General Universitario de Elche (Alicante). Since his very early medicine studies, Dr. Moltó was interested in infectious diseases, particularly in HIV infection. He joined the HIV Clinic of the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol in 2002, and he obtained his PhD degree from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2008. He is committed with HIV research with special interest in clinical pharmacology of antiretroviral treatment, including population pharmacokinetics and drug-drug interactions.

Eugènia Negredo earned her medical degree and PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Sant Pau Hospital.

Since 1999, she has led the HIV Section at Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital (HGTiP) and coordinates a research group focused on HIV-related complications and associated chronic inflammation, with a special emphasis on aging.

She contributes to national and international clinical guidelines on comorbidities and aging (GESIDA, PNS, EACS), and since 2014 has been a professor and coordinator of the Medical degree at UVIC-UCC.

Since 2016, she has co-directed the international workshop “Comprehensive Management of Aging and HIV”, held annually in Barcelona and Buenos Aires.

Medical specialist in internal medicine. He is currently performing his assistance in the area of infectious diseases, specifically in HIV and STIs in the Drassanes Unit – Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, in Barcelona. His areas of expertise are combined HIV prevention, the approach to recreational drug use in sexualized contexts (Chemsex) and anal dysplasia screening.

Juan Ambrosioni MD, Ph.D. He is a specialist at the Infectious Diseases Service of Hospital Clinic, Barcelona, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Barcelona, since 2014. He is an ID specialist of the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and the University of Geneva, Switzerland. Juan Ambrosioni is author of more than 130 peer-reviewed scientific articles indexed in PubMed (more than 40 as first, last or corresponding author), and more than 30 book chapters. He is the principal investigator of national and international projects in the field of HIV infection, co-infections and opportunistic infections. His main research fields are currently focused on antiretroviral therapy, primary HIV infection and tuberculous meningitis. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he has been involved in clinical management of COVID-19 cases including those presented in people living with HIV. He is a member of the ‘Opportunistic Infections and COVID-19’ panel of the European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS) Guidelines.

Juan Tiraboschi obtained a Medical Degree from the National University of Córdoba, Argentina in 1999. He trained in Medicine and Infectious Diseases in Argentina and France (2000–2007). He obtained a PhD degree in 2015 by the University of Barcelona investigating on the penetration and antiviral activity of antiretroviral drugs in the Central Nervous System. Between 2013 and 2016, Dr. Tiraboschi completed a fellowship in HIV Research at St Thomas Hospital in London, UK. He joined the HIV and STI. Unit at Bellvitge University Hospital in 2016. His clinical and research interests include the effects of HIV and antiretroviral therapy on Central Nervous System, viral reservoirs and immunity.
