Information

This theoretical and practical course in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) combines the expertise of Cardio MRI specialists with real clinical scenarios. Participants will apply theoretical knowledge through practical case studies to develop essential imaging diagnostic skills.
The course covers essential topics, including the fundamentals of Cardiac MRI with standard slice planning and the use of late gadolinium enhancement alongside tissue mapping sequences. Participants will explore the role of Cardiac MRI in ischemic heart disease, focusing on perfusion and viability studies, as well as its application in non-ischemic cardiomyopathies. The curriculum also delves into the differential diagnosis of ventricular hypertrophy, the evaluation of valvular heart disease, and the imaging of pericardial diseases, masses, and tumors. Additionally, it addresses the use of Cardiac MRI in aortic disease and congenital heart conditions.
