Carlos de Andrés David holds a degree in Medicine from the University of Lleida (2014) and has been practicing since 2020 as a specialist in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of Dénia in the Infectious Diseases Unit, where he has served as coordinator since October 2024. He has a special focus on HIV infection, STIs/PrEP, and the management of HPV infections, including the screening of related lesions through high-resolution anoscopy. Additionally, he is the PROA coordinator at his center and, since May 2023, has been a tutor for Internal Medicine residents. His training includes a master’s degree in Research Methodology in Health Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2019) and a diploma in Design and Statistics in Health Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2017). He has also completed several master’s degrees in infectious diseases and HIV.

José Ignacio Mateo González is a physician, graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia (2010), and has been a specialist in Internal Medicine since 2016 at the General University Hospital of Valencia. He has expertise in HIV, PrEP, sexually transmitted infections, tropical medicine, and travel medicine. He has completed multiple master’s degrees in infectious diseases and global health. He has authored over 10 scientific publications, delivered 50 conference presentations, and participated as a sub-investigator in international clinical trials. He is also recognized for his teaching role in specialized master’s programs and courses.

Concha Amador holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid, with training in Internal Medicine at Gregorio Marañón University Hospital and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at McGill University (Montreal). Completed a master’s degree in AIDS Pathogenesis and Treatment and earned a Cum Laude PhD on the epidemiology of candidemia.
Has extensive experience in HIV and infectious diseases, providing care since the early HIV epidemic in Spain. Works in the Infectious Diseases Unit of Marina Baixa Hospital, part of the national CoRIS cohort, and served as the hospital’s medical director (2016–2019).
Has held leadership roles in major Spanish scientific societies, including president of SEICV (2007–2009) and SEISIDA (2020–2022), board member of GeSIDA, and board member of SEIMC (2019–2025). Contributed to national guidelines on opportunistic infections, women’s HIV care, and HIV quality indicators.
In teaching, serves as an associate professor at the University of Alicante and participates in resident training as Head of Studies and Chair of the Department’s Teaching Committee.

Currently serving as an associate clinical lecturer in the Department of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Valencia. Since 2012, responsibility has been held for the presidency of the Committee on Infections, Prophylaxis and Antibiotic Policy at the Hospital Clínic Universitari de València. Additional roles include founding and leading the Hospital PROA Group (Hospital Antibiotic Optimization Program) since September 2016 and acting as a board member of the Community PROA Program. Secretariat duties are also fulfilled within the Diabetic Foot Patient Committee of the same institution.
Teaching activity has included participation in several master’s programs on infectious diseases. Positions within the Valencian Society of Infectious Diseases include board membership (2015–2019), vice presidency (2019–2026), and appointment to the presidency in January 2026.
Scientific contributions comprise published articles, involvement in research studies and clinical trials, and supervision of master’s theses and doctoral dissertations, all within the field of Infectious Diseases.

Víctor García Bustos holds a medical degree from the University of Valencia (2016), is a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe, Valencia (2022), and earned a PhD in Medicine with Extraordinary Doctoral Award from the University of Valencia (2022). He is a member and researcher of the Infectious Diseases Unit and the Severe Infection Research Group at the Health Research Institute La Fe (IIS La Fe), Valencia.

With more than 50 scientific publications, leadership of national competitive research projects, participation in patents and technological innovation projects, and supervision of doctoral theses, research activity focuses on infectious diseases in vulnerable patients, particularly fungal and neglected diseases, and on the One Health approach to emerging pathogens in the context of global change.
