The Intensive Course on Antimicrobial Therapy "Dr. Drobnic" reaches its 53d edition. The course is aimed at physicians, clinical microbiologists and pharmacists from different fields with an interest in infectious diseases and their treatment.
Correct antimicrobial stewardship in patients with infectious diseases is a clinical skill that requires up-to-date training. Inappropriate use of antimicrobials has a negative impact on patients and contributes to the selection and dissemination of antimicrobial resistance. These resistances, coupled with the large number of clinical situations requiring antimicrobial treatment, and the number of molecules available, greatly complicate the management of infectious diseases today.
